Life grows darker as we go on until only one pure light is left shining on it; and that is faith. We shall find peace. We shall hear angels, we shall see the sky sparkling with diamonds. To be free from evil thoughts is God's best gift. Do not pray for an easy life, pray for the strength to endure a difficult one. If you want to find God, hang out in the space between your thoughts. God will not look you over for medals, degrees or diplomas but for scars. God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference. We must be ready to allow ourselves to be interrupted by God. Blessed are those who need no reasons other than their love for the Savior to keep his commandments.
