From their resilience through the brutalities of slavery to the ongoing fight for equity, African Americans have played a critical role as the economic foundational mothers and fathers of our nation, and they have done so without receiving just compensation or well-deserved recognition.

We stand united in honoring our Veterans as the true heroes they are during National Salute to Veterans Patients Week. Their sacrifices and bravery have paved the way for our freedoms, and this initiative serves as a heartfelt expression of our gratitude.

We are the land of the free because of the brave.

Immigrants, who contribute greatly to our economy as law-abiding taxpayers, deserve to have their rights protected and their voices heard.

Protecting our communities and ensuring that every person, regardless of their status, is treated fairly is a matter of justice and decency.
