At the end of the day, it's just about what makes you happy. While we are very quick to judge, a lot of people talk the talk but don't walk the walk.

People in India need education, specially the smaller towns and have to be broad-minded when they watch a TV show.

In India, most of the people have a fixed idea what a TV show should be like and therefore with 'Haasil' we wanted to raise the banter for the audiences but in the bargain we realized that it is difficult to change the audiences of India.

I took a break from acting and l kept myself busy.

I was typecast.

My acting career had ups and downs. It's been a mix of everything.

What is happening here is there are too many checks and balances that are happening. There are too many people involved who should not be involved in the creative process.

People must take risks, they have to. That is the only way to show that we can't be governed by a set of rules like 'these people like this much, this time to this time these people watch this.'

Fardeen has been through a lot in life.

I tell my wife that she doesn't need a baby since she has me to look after.

Anything that happens for the first time, be it fatherhood or stunts, scares you.

It's all about constantly pursuing, constantly being perseverent, and never letting anybody tell you NO is the finality of everything.

Whenever I am working with seniors, I give them their space but once I am in my zone, I forget who is senior, junior, big, small, and I just come in to my own workspace.

Your presence must be felt by your performance, by how good you make it and how confident you are of yourself.

I never imagined I would slap Anil Kapoor. For me, Anil is like an elder brother and is very experienced. On a personal level, I felt insulted for having slapped him. But that's what acting is all about.

I have known Vatsal for years now. We both had literally started our careers together. He is cool, calm, sweetheart, and such a brilliant actor. It's great to have him as a co-star. The idea of being brothers just comes naturally.

You need to understand that for television, you need to be on your toes constantly. There are so many episodes.

I think at the end of the day, the way my father looks at it is if the script is solid, if it is going to be shot well... I think all these boxes were ticked with flying colours by him for Haasil.'

Television for sure is very demanding. One needs to be extremely disciplined and maintain strict regimen through the long running of shows.
