I have always been running away from dance numbers. That's been my problem.

Age is just a number for me! A person is as young as he feels.

I would say one must just keep working hard and not lose faith. You don't know when destiny is going to come your way, what opportunity comes your way.

To me, the box-office is basically the cost of film. If your film costs so much and your box-office is so much and a bit more, you are okay.

My production company wasn't doing well, so we were not producing films. Over a period of time, we have realized that we are going to produce our own films and make cinema that we like. We've got so much in-house talent, and my kids are going to be coming, so we all decided that we are going to be in films and cinema.

I am an entertainer. Cinema is entertainment. It is nothing more than that.

'Yamla Pagla Deewana' is not slapstick but a situation based comedy.

My audiences who love me don't mind me dancing with two left feet.

Without romance, films will be boring. I doubt if people now understand romance, though they may claim it otherwise. I am very romantic in real life.

I want to do action which is larger than life but has a touch of reality.

While I always thought of making sequels to movies like 'Ghayal,' the filmmakers would almost always veto the idea.

At one time, late Yash-ji, too, wanted to do two to three films, but somehow, I am not the kind to do too many things at the same time. I like to take it slow and steady.

I am happy with my family and my colleagues and want to continue making my own kind of cinema. I have never belonged to any camp and have no friends in the industry. Most of them will pay lip service, but when it comes to doing, they tend to shy away.

Today films are made to cater to commercial markets created by multiplexes, not for those who enjoy good cinema.

My films have always been considered the benchmark in action. I have a big responsibility to shoulder.
