In the long term, it would be good to have one formation or one style of play.

The problem is that if we play in a 4-2-2-2, that means that the space behind the two strikers and the two 6s is that you don't have a player, you can only fill that gap by the two 10s. This is the most challenging and sophisticated job in that system.

I am not that far apart from Jurgen Klopp in terms of our ideas about a style of football. That's no secret.

As a manager, I cannot force a player if he does not feel fit enough or well enough to play.

If players tell the doctor and the medical department they are injured and cannot play I have to accept it.

It's pretty easy in football: you need to have the best possible people, a clear idea of football and stick to that idea and make decisions with that in mind.

Every coach has their own idea of football. For me it's about consistency on the highest possible level and also quality of players.

I know Jurgen in person and I know Pep from his time in Germany managing Bayern Munich; he also has a clear idea how he wants to play. This is the secret behind their success: they know exactly how they want to play, a corporate identity. Not just for new players but for staff members too. This is what all the top clubs have in common.

It's important to develop the team and players and all the other issues will be dealt with at the right moment.

Our job as coaches is to help the team to create enough chances.

Everybody wants to play in the Champions League every season, but we have to be realistic.

One thing is to know the gameplan, the other is to transform it and translate it on to the pitch.
