It's not about how much weight you can lift in-season. It's about how fast you can move it, how strong you are, how you can maintain that strength so you can produce on the floor.

You know, if I cleaned out my backpack, which I don't really use anymore, I'd find a bunch of beads. I have a bunch of little girl cousins, they used to paint my toenails and stuff, and they'd make beaded bracelets and there are so many beads everywhere. It's kinda embarrassing.

You don't find a 6-foot-5 pitcher with the athleticism and coordination I have all that often.

For me, it was my dream as a kid to play two sports at the highest level I possibly could. Doing that at Notre Dame just meant I had to sacrifice in ways a normal college student wouldn't have had to sacrifice.

As NBA players, so much of the game is mental, as far as confidence and playing against the best players in the world.

Sometimes I'll read a book before bed.

I grew up with all hockey players.

I wake up, I'll scramble some eggs, cook some bacon, have a few pieces of toast, yogurt, smoothie, whatever it might be. I'll then workout, whether it's outside, inside, bike, weights, whatever I have access to, however creative I can be.

For me, I love doing different things with real estate.

One thing that the coaching staff and the assistant coaches did a really good job of working me on was shaping myself into an NBA guard.

I only dabble in the digital currency. I'm not an expert or know if it's going to boom or bust. But being a business guy, I try to diversify a little bit.

I was texting with someone the other day and they asked me a question, 'What would do you if you didn't play basketball, or if you didn't play baseball? What would you want to do as a job?' My answer was, 'I've never even thought about it.'

To be honest March Madness has not treated me very well.

I'd love to play in Cowboys Stadium or one of those football stadiums.

You look at the body types of some of the strongest people in the world, they're compact. They can move their body weight because there's not as much distance to go.

I've always enjoyed the fact that a lot of people didn't have that much confidence in what I could do because I enjoy proving people wrong.

There's nothing like being a pitcher on the mound. You're by yourself. Ever since I was a little kid watching Pedro Martinez do it, night in and night out. I've always loved it.

I'm pretty confident in my strength, my ability to move, and athleticism.

How many guys can say they've played in two professional leagues?

Hey, I'm comfortable with my masculinity.

At the end of the day, if I can prevent the shot from getting to the rim, it's going to help my team.

I think there are a lot of people who say they want to be professional athletes, say they want to make millions of dollars, but don't necessarily like doing the hard work that goes into it.

As guys know that you're a shooter, well, they're going to try to run you off the line.

I'm in a unique situation in every facet of my life.

I want to see if I can play in the Big East, ACC, Pac-10, and pitch, too.

Kids of this day and age know you don't necessarily have to specialize in one sport no matter how much society and your coaches are pushing you towards that.

For me, it's about making the winning plays, making the right plays, making the basketball plays and being aggressive whether it's on defense or offense.

For me, I try to stay even keel.

One of the things that I was taught in Portland is 'Never too high, never too low.'

Winning a championship in Milwaukee, it's not about my other business. It's about bringing the notoriety to a great city.

I drank a lot of milk as a kid so maybe I can get on a 'Got Milk?' commercial at some point.

For me, it's about making sure I do the best I can for my team.

For me, I like any win I can get. It doesn't really matter where it is or who it's versus.

I bring a winning mentality.

You've got to make the winning plays at winning time, whether it's a shot in the clutch or getting a big defensive rebound. Those are the intangibles I try to bring.

I want to take basketball as far as I can.

A lot of the NBA teams didn't know I wanted to pursue basketball, and I'm trying to show them I do.

I graduated from Notre Dame.

Not many guys are on a professional baseball roster, but have an ability to pursue another professional sport.

I'm not going to explore basketball recklessly.

I like to think that as much as I have a passion for both sports, I also am a decently smart guy on the business side.

Now as I got older, it wasn't just that I want to be a pro in two sports, I want to be successful at the professional level in two sports. Obviously, I'm still working to attain that. Especially in basketball.

I think the Orioles know I have real potential in baseball.

I realized if and when I ever put my mind strictly to baseball. I can do some things very few people in this world can.

I've always said I'm going to play two sports as long as possible.

I'm in limbo. The baseball people are like, 'Oh, he's basketball athletic.' The basketball people are like, 'Well, he plays baseball, so he's probably not that athletic.'

Winning has always been the most important thing to me.

It's kind of fun raising some eyebrows when all of a sudden you jump up and you get a tip-dunk or you dunk on Jabari Parker and everyone's like, 'Where did that come from?'

The love of basketball, the time and effort I've put into it - I'd be doing a disservice to myself if I didn't see how far I could go in basketball before I tried to do anything in baseball.
