Everyone works to do more than they do in the game.

Just competing, whatever the task is, I'm just going to have to chase people all over the court, sometimes I'm going to have to be in the paint, some games I'm going to have to score more, spot up, shoot, cut. Just whatever the game presents itself, like whatever I have do to. Just doing that.

You have to believe in yourself. If you don't then you've already lost.

I feel like I play a lot of defence.

Every game I just try to be aggressive, so, ball finds me I try to be aggressive and make the right play.

I always liked Toronto. I always felt a connection. It was a family environment. They really cared about me, my whole family, and they just really believed in me, that I could be something special.

I try to play hard defensively.

I just try to get better every summer and I think everything will fall into place.

I can compete with everyone.

I think every year in the league, I try to be a better leader than I was the year before.

I just try to do things the right way.

When we play with pace good things happen.

It's just about getting the reps and staying with it and just being confident in my moves and being patient.

I've never just thought of myself as a defensive-only player.

I always carried a chip on my shoulder to prove I was better than people thought.

It's definitely a goals of mine, to inspire kids in Great Britain to want to play basketball and show that they can make it to the NBA from Britain.

I try to mix it up. Mixing up being on ball, off ball, posting, just trying to do everything. Passing.

I mean, I'm just going to have chase people all over the court.

Guarding the perimeter, getting steals and blocks, I love that. But I enjoy getting through ball screens.

I know I'm getting better no matter what.

As the season goes on, you figure out what plays you get or what spots you're in on the floor or what actions you're in, who you're with. So you figure that stuff out as the season goes and you try to work on all of it in the summer.

In practice, I'm working on doing something with my hands, taking different shots, working on stuff to expand my game.

Sometimes you just know. You just know when you're better. Even when you're working out in the summer, you can work out five days and by Friday you could be like, 'I'm better than where I was on Monday.' It's just a feeling.

I can be an All-Star, I know I can.

I don't care about recruiting rankings or any of that stuff.

I always come into the game confident.

If you know me, I'm not shy.

I think I'm athletic enough, strong enough and smart enough to defend every position.

At elementary school I played every sport and then I started to like basketball more but then again I had phases with every sport where I wanted to play professionally, baseball, basketball and football. But then in middle school when I started to grow and I got better, I knew I wanted to play basketball.

Once you believe in yourself anything can happen.

I think I lead by example, more than a guy that'll be yelling and screaming.

It was tough not having a mother, but my dad did a really good job raising us.

I try to show the young guys the way. If they need help they can ask me.

Some games you're going to have to be in the paint. Some games you're going to have to score more, you're going to have to spot up shoot, you're going to have to cut, just whatever the game presents itself.

My dad always taught me discipline and to do everything with my best effort, to always do things on time and be respectful in everything I do, my whole family is big on that so it's very important to me and I try to do in everything.

I think I've grown a lot, just from the support of teammates and coaches, helping me get through everything.

I think I can guard five positions.

I think I can become the best defender in the league.

In AAU, I'd play in the post, because my team didn't have much size. In high school, I play more on the perimeter.

Getting better is the end goal. It doesn't matter how.

I'm from England.

It's fun when everyone is scoring.

I think I can just play. I think I'm just good.

Basketball was just more fun than the other sports.

I don't shoot trying to miss.

I've always thought I was a two-way player. That's always what I want to be.

I think it's impressive when you can do it on both ends, when you can score and defend. Not a lot of guys can do that.

I've always trained hard in the summers.

I mean, I think I've always applied myself on defence.

Defensively, I've always wanted to be defensive player of the year.
