I see my sister in so many faces of so much of our audience. I have two younger brothers as well. I want so much to be able to convince them or tell them that their lives are important. 'You're meant to be here. There's a purpose that only you can fulfill.'

I liked P.O.D. a little bit back in the day. It wasn't normally my style of stuff, but I loved their passion and I loved what they stood for and I loved that they went out and did it.

When I was growing up, it was good to have somebody that could relate with the darkness that I was going through, but at the same time if it just left me there, it actually was destructive in my life.

I really have a strong anti-abortion stance.

I think in America it feels like our heritage. If you don't like the rules then just stand up and change them. So we don't have this example of healthy trustworthy rule makers.

I just think it would be a good thing to have a voice in the mix of all the hopelessness that actually gives you a light at the end of the tunnel; a voice that's still honest about the pain and struggle, but can also scream, 'Hey, wake up and be alive because there's hope!'

I feel humbled and thankful when things go well.

When I was an atheist I hated people, especially people that talked about God. I thought that they were naive. It wasn't a good thing to tell people about God and make them feel like they're safe and that He's going to take care of them when bad things happen.

Personally, as far as expressing myself, really, I'm just listening to the people that I trust with putting our career out there.
