I ran track and played football... I was an all-American.

'Lauder' is a favorite because the name of the song is a friend of mine who passed away.

Initially, I wanted to be a writer for other people. 'Hereditary,' I was writing it from a woman's perspective.

I don't try to make one thing. I really try to experiment, even if its just the vocals or the beat. I can't really describe my sound.

Just to be, overall, I want to be one of the greats: overall, someone that leaves a good mark, someone everybody always remember.

I try to read as much as I can.

I want to be remembered. I want to have a legacy. Van Gogh only sold one painting before he died, which would mean that he wasn't famous when he was alive. But in 2017, I know who Van Gogh is.

My writing process is consecutive, like, 'mad scientist' crazy. It's not totally writing something that rhymes or even writing a rap necessarily. Sometimes it's just writing down stuff that I'm going through.
