Boney M was the most perfect mix of black and white music, but in America, music still had to be black or white. The real crossover didn't come until the late 70s, early 80s.

Audiences loved 'Do You Wanna Bump?' and, after a while, the publishers were getting so many requests for television interviews that I was told I had to create a band to perform it.

I saw the Abba musical, and I loved it, but my music was a little bit different, a little more black.
