It's been interesting even thinking of myself as an 'actor' in a professional sense.

I think that was ingrained in my mind pretty early, learning not to give up.

I have the honor of being alive and surrounded by people who love and care for me.

I get bored easily, so I constantly need to keep my brain stimulated. So however and whatever that may be, I will continue to do so.

I'm a quick learner but my earliest memory of riding a bike was going straight off the front of a 20 staircase in my driveway and yelling to my mom that I almost made it to the bottom and trying to air down the stairs straight after the first attempt.

I have learned to go with the flow and make sure you have an amazing local tour guide. It's the key to wherever you're visiting.

I never went to school. I was homeschooled my whole life - and I also didn't even graduate.

Social media has had such a major impact on society. It ushered in what we call the technological age of fear, and it has really affected how people think and the kind of information people get from it.

My mom's grandparents came over to Hawaii to work in the sugarcane fields.

You know, when it's all said and done, there's a lot of prep and there's a lot of things leading up to the moment before they say action... but I'm actually thoroughly enjoying all that comes with it.

You get most inspired when you're doing the things you want to do.

When you do things you don't want to do, it just dilutes the results and nothing comes out as good as it should be.

I was obsessed with these Oshkosh pants that zipped off and became shorts.

When I was younger I was the kid wearing things that were a bit out there.

My earliest memory, and one of my favorite memories, is growing up in Hawaii and going to visit my dad's parents, my grandparents, in Anaheim, and obviously, that's close to Disneyland.

If you live in New York or you're around and you know you can choose to get in trouble. Or you can choose not to.

I'm building my plethora of things that I'm into but purely starting because of passion and love.

I don't know if skating or designing clothes is the be all or end all, there's always these new things that keep popping up.

Growing up in Hawaii and spending every day in the ocean and outside surrounded by nature gave me a unique appreciation for the environment and how important it is for me.

Don't mistake 'aloha' for weakness.

Once upon a time, I had my heart broken, and people think that's healthy to experience at least once in your life, but... I don't care about feeling that pain ever again, truthfully.

The lifestyle we were living as kids was really a fantasy.

We really want to build a community around Good Weird and change the conversation around who can and can't explore the beauty aisle.

Good Weird has an original approach to beauty. It's an unconventional brand that's breaking barriers and thinks for itself.

I've always shot photos and tried to document as much as possible, but it was basically just for documentation because I do not have that good of a memory. There are so many things that happen and you forget a lot of it. So it's nice to have those little notes throughout life to bring you back to those times.

I've tried to figure out, my whole life, how I can do that. And how I can make a career out of doing things that I absolutely love.

The whole aspect of recreating yourself, and acting in itself, is really fun to me.

Coming from Hawaii doesn't really affiliate you with being American - you call yourself Hawaiian.

Being an icon means creating your own path and sharing it with the world.

That's the beauty of being young and moving to a new place: You can be anything.

Growing up in Hawaii, my natural instinct was to think that I was going to become a professional surfer or skater. Moving to Los Angeles opened my eyes to so much more. Do I want to be a stylist? Do I want to be a photographer? Do I want to be a designer? Or do I want to be an air traffic control person?

Beauty really is and should be for everyone.

Sunscreen is a big staple for me. It's helped my skin stay protected and pristine, especially in hot weather.

I live by cold showers. I'm pretty active and always on the move, so they're a great way to keep me refreshed when I wake up.

I've been surfing ever since I was young, and something I recall very vividly is putting sunscreen on every day.

My first pair of jeans were a women's pair from Ross. I wanted them so bad. They're like the worst fit, but I was into skating, and I needed skinny jeans, 'cause I thought that's what skaters wore, which they did at that time.

Hawaii has such a mixed culture, so you're around a lot of different people and a lot of different things.
