Marley was born in 2014 and I gave her her biological father's name. After two months, we became estranged and I raised her as a single mom. And then, the good Lord saw fit for me to meet an amazing man, Michael Sterling, who has become my husband and the father of my later children.

I've been in the entertainment industry for quite some time.

I am a part of the 'Top Model' fraternity. I speak to Tyra every so often.

I never dreamed of winning 'Top Model.' My best friend wanted to try out, so I went along to support her.

There have only been a few reality stars that you say their name, they represent an entire franchise and Linnethia Monique Leakes is that. I think reality television - I think weekly television, appointment TV - is going to miss her.

My favorite place is the tub.

My grandparents died two months apart, like, marriage forever, all my aunts and uncles, all my brothers are married.

Anyone that's ever been through a divorce knows that divorce is hard. It's like the stomach flu, you will be skinny afterward. A 200-pound person, you're gonna drop at least 30 pounds.

Study your business, study your craft, learn from the old heads, and then throw it away. Because what they knew beauty to be and what they knew the box to be, we've never fit in. So be you, be beautiful, and if you don't fit in the box, make your own.

I love the holidays, and there's nothing like love - and love in a hopeless place, a forbidden love, a love that was hard to attain, a second chance at love, so I think that's something we can all relate on, no matter what creed, what age.

I'm one of those people, it doesn't matter how much money I'll ever acquire, working is my joy.

By the time I'm 51, I wish I can say I'm still a model. Like no one at 51 is still a model.

A lot of things can be read more shady than they are.

As much as you turn on the television and see our beautiful faces, you'd be amazed to see who is not behind the camera. Who is not in hair and makeup and glam and consulting in all things for Black women.

I have so much love and light with the friends that I have around me, who I speak to every day, my family.

Life is so short and unless it's really something that you cannot get over, unless it's a bell that cannot be un-rung, for me it's not that deep.

You know when you go somewhere and it's like a lot of fun and then you say, 'That place don't owe me nothing'? That's 'Housewives.'

I have a great schedule, I have a great team, and honestly I keep God first. I let him order my steps. He has plans for me that are way bigger, that are plans for me to do nothing but make me great, so I just follow where God's taking me.

Safety is a priority for me.

I love my hair short because a lot of people think there's nothing you can do with it, but there are so many things you can do. I have had just about every color of the rainbow and have had just about every cut. One of my favorites was my platinum pixie cut. It's such a distinct look.

With my hair I tend to push the envelope often.

Being from California, fantasy hair is not something that I grew up with.

Competition brings out the best and the worst in everyone, which I personally know all too well.

You know, when I did 'Real Housewives of Atlanta,' I was pregnant - I had two kids while doing the show - and as much as I love acting, I've been acting since 'Kevin Hill,' 'Everybody Hates Chris,' right? The early 2000s, but I was pregnant and you can't really do much acting.

I'm very grateful for the opportunities that I had.

I do the news on 'The Rickey Smiley Morning Show,' I talk about how many millions of Americans are unemployed. And so I thank God and my lucky stars for my employment - but if I could go and just relax for a week? Oh geez. Ah! The reason why it wouldn't work for me is because I'd be asleep the whole time.

I come from a competition-based reality show, but nonetheless, I know reality television.

I don't major in the minor.

Life is a lot of drama.

The negative feelings, the things that are not good, where do you put them? You try to bury them down.

I'm someone's mom, but if I took the mom away, if I took Top Model away, like, who is Eva? Who am I? And making sure I prioritize that character and building that character.

I found myself depressed before my divorce, through my divorce, and trying to navigate and rediscover: Who am I?

I fight for my locs in all the projects I do.

No one wants to spend a zillion dollars on makeup to have to go replace it every month. We want something at a good price point that will last for a long time. And that's your go-to, your tried and true.

My goal is to give women an oasis with warm patterns and comfortable fabrics, for an easy getaway from life.

Growing up I was not the girl who had the idea of a fairytale wedding.

There's this big curiosity about how much money I spent for my wedding, and how much per plate, and all this good stuff. Let's be very clear - I paid for my own wedding. There were no loans. Nothing was done on barter.

We were very strategic in involving people in our wedding that had great common sense as it pertains to matrimony, which is why I asked NeNe to say the speech and the toast at my wedding.

I was naive enough to think that I can plan a wedding for $80 to $100,000. I spent well over $350,000.

We all have a natural beauty. It's about accentuating and figuring out what your thing is.
