Everybody wants something until they have a chance to really get it.

I played a little football but it was nothing like boxing. One on one. Me vs. you. You win, you win. I lose, I lose. It was for me to build the character inside to be like, how do I get better at this without relying on anybody else?

You put anyone with me, they're getting a run for their money. I'm willing to show and prove it and fight whoever.

I'm the best out here, I'm pound-for-pound.

If they don't want to do it, that's their loss. If U.S. TV don't want to cover me, I can't beat myself up.

Listen, man, everybody has their own journey, obstacles, and some people get built through promotional companies to be a star, but really haven't fought the best guys out there. And then you have guys that really earned their spot and that happens to be me.

Tony Harrison is definitely not Demetrius Andrade. Yes, he's probably a prospect and doing good things but everybody sounds good, everybody's a prospect until you get in there with somebody that knows how to fight.

I put my career and my life on the line every time I step in the ring.

When I first started boxing, I said that I'd fight in The Olympics, become world champion, and retire undefeated.

If someone wants to come and say hi and respect the work that I've done, I'm happy to meet them.

If Canelo wants to unify the division, he can fight me.

Who doesn't want to be undisputed champion of the world?

Some people know me, some people don't. Who would know Steve Jobs if he walked down the street?

You can't just sweep me under the rug like I won't come back stronger and better.

Sulecki was a tough guy. He wasn't taking no for an answer. He came to fight, though, and I did what I had to do, and that's look pretty. Tall, black, handsome.

I am the best out here.

I don't want to fight the bottom guys.

I didn't look past Sulecki. I just knew I was going to beat him.

Who cares about GGG-Canelo III? Honestly, who cares?

When I get into the ring I need to show what I can do, not tell you what I'm gonna do.

I may not be fighting the most popular guys like Canelo or GGG. But I am fighting real fighters, tough guys who want to prove that they belong and be world champions.

I will not turn down a Canelo fight. I won't sell myself short, but I will not turn down a Canelo fight.

My job is to win.

The boxing world knows I'm the baddest man out there, but not having the right promotion behind me putting me out there has hurt me and that's why I've made the changes, and Matchroom and DAZN know what I can bring and they can move me to the next level.

I'm a bad man!

I know there's always room for improvement.

I want to make sure that when I step into the boxing ring it's an even playing field because I work extremely hard with the talents I'm blessed with and I want to let the people know there's no enhancements over here.

When we spar, we spar right-handers, we spar left-handers. We spar everybody.

If I keep to my plan, nobody can beat me.

I'm going to knock out the Charlo twins.

Willie Nelson is a true champion. He pushed me to the limit where I had to figure out what punches to throw. But I put the pieces of the puzzle together and got the knockout, baby.

We don't control Canelo or Golden Boy.

I'm not turning down the opportunity to walk out the ring with four belts.

I could put a lot of guys down that's top 80 to 100. That's easy - anybody could do that.

I have a family to support.

Every day, I can learn.

I love being in the gym.

GGG is known for his knockouts. I knock out people, too, but I'm a better boxer than him.

I always believed in myself, and I knew if I worked hard, stayed positive and did what I was supposed to, that good things would happen.

My job is to keep winning, getting in the ring with the likes of, of course Canelo, GGG. I'd like to put my skills and talent against these guys.

Sulecki is no pushover. He ain't no Steve Rolls, ain't no Rocky Fielding.

There have been times when people lost and they have come back, but somebody like me, we ain't got time for that.

If you want to be the best you have to keep winning.

You can't be young forever.

My name ain't Liam Smith, my name ain't Rocky Fielding, my name ain't Amir Khan, James Kirkland - it's Demetrius Andrade and it ain't no easy walk in the park.

I'm kind of tired of chasing people, calling out everybody because I always do that. All I can do right now is be the guy to beat everybody else, so there's no more people that they can go and try to run and make fights and situations happen for them that we're allowing.

At the end of the day, there's a line full of people that want to fight Canelo and there's champions that maybe fought better opposition than me, but the reason why is because these people didn't want to fight me.

I'm not going to do anything out my way to try to get somebody to watch me because I want to act a buffoon. I want to build a character that I want my kids to look up to. It's OK to be the bad guy when it's time to be the bad guy, but to live and be the bad guy all day, every day? It's like, 'No, come on, man, you're making us look bad.'

Don't get me wrong, Anthony Joshua is Anthony Joshua, but he's not as skillful and as talented as me, you know? I'm just speaking facts.

This is why we're in fighting. It's a business. That's what we're in.
