I love a good blazer.

I'm a self-proclaimed jeans, a great top and a hoodie type of girl.

My middle name is Blazer, and I wear blazers all the time to work.

My career is about policy reform.

I just want people to know about economic inequality.

We have to sometimes be pulled all the way down to shoot forward.

I'm going to make mistakes.

Growing up, I lived a very normal, down-to-earth life.

I grew up with Dad kind of always - I always saw him work with the other side of the aisle.

I'm authentic, I'm kind, I'm honest.

I care, I'm compassionate. And I'm really strategic.

I truly am proud of my father.

The hoodie is universal.

I always had my own style. I would say it's easygoing, sleek and with a little edge.

A lot of our social ills are directly related to poverty, not that people of higher status don't have problems, but they have resources.

People all across the country do wonderful projects and initiatives and yet we are not sharing and collaborating often. I hope to make creative innovators, entrepreneurs, people in the helping professions more collaborative.

It's not like I'm going to go and become a movie star.

I'm doing my work as I always have been, but kind of figuring out the role as First Daughter, and how can I use it in the most positive way, where it's not about me, it's about Americans.

I knew Dad took the train and was trying to solve the problems of the world. But as a little girl, he's just Dad.

I learned about injustice young. That I had a duty to not be complicit, to not turn the other way.

The irony of it - that we are one of the wealthiest nations in the world, yet there is such a gap in economic equality... The justice system in this country is not just.

The Secret Service are incredible.

I want a janitor, a school teacher, the local pastor, whomever is involved in the community to sit at the table and to pick the projects for economic development.

Out of tragedy, people often unite in pain.

We have a rule still today that no matter where Dad is, no matter what meeting he's in, if one of the kids call, you have to get him out.
