I wasn't going to sell out on top, if I was going to be in the main event with somebody I wasn't going to sell out an 80,000 seat arena, I wasn't going to sell a lot of merchandise. I wasn't that guy that you were going to put as the face of your company.

I was big enough, strong enough, knowledgeable enough, to have a successful career without being the top top guy.

A wise man has to know his limitations. I figured that out pretty quickly.

I've been given an opportunity to finish my career out the way it's supposed to be, having fun.

I think guys are burning the business out by doing all this high impact stuff because once you use it as just a high spot, that's all it will ever be afterwards.

We set up finishes for a reason so that you can build drama, work towards that finish. The drama is you don't quite get to hit it and that's why you didn't win that night. Had you hit that particular move, you would've won. Not that you hit it 4 or 5 times and the guy kicked out because guess what, it's no longer a finish.

Brock Lesnar got over on the fact that if he hit one F5, you were beat.

I've often said the Undertaker is probably the guy who is at least as most respected as anybody who's ever been in the business. He is a locker room leader. He goes out and leads by example and he works hurt and guts it out and toughs it out.

If the audience is screaming, I don't really care. As long as it's loud and sustained, I don't care who they're screaming for or what they're screaming for. It's when they get quiet, that's when I get nervous.

One victory, if it kills you off, you were just being propped up. Anyway, you weren't really over.

Rusev went for a year without getting beat. So, the first time he got beat by Cena, it mattered and it meant something.

You got to be receptive to change, and everything changes, including our business.

Bray Wyatt just as Bray Wyatt in the beginning with those promos that he used to do - the 'Cape Fear'-esque character was pretty scary to me.

The audience can smell it, if you put the title on somebody to try to get the guy over that's just shoving him down people's throats and that's not what works.

You never put the title on somebody to get them over. What you do is you take your championship and put it on the guy that's the most over, that's the reason, because that guy is ready to draw you money.

If I was the guy, I believe, that was going to stalk anybody, it certainly wouldn't be in a building full of wrestlers.

A talent like Seth Rollins, how many times has he been a baby face or a heel? There's a guy that's a diamond. Just polish him up, you don't need to try and change his chemical makeup.

When you try and flip a guy from heel to baby face, the audience gets confused.

Cesaro, and I've always thought this ever since I saw complete matches and work with guys and be able to do all of the things that he does and you see pretty much all of it in a 15-20 minute extravaganza, I think he's special.

Every 5, 7, 10 years you have a new fan base. You always have to be re-establishing your fan base. That means you got to have a diverse menu of talents that give you all kinds of things.

You always have to have new. You have to keep feeding the audience's appetite for new faces and new talent.

Well, I didn't particularly want Rusev to turn babyface myself, but the fans, when they call for it, jump on it.

Bobby Roode looks like a million dollars, great head on his shoulders for the business.

I'm a big fan of Bobby Roode and Chad Gable.

It would be kind of cool to look at yourself in the mirror as you're having a match.

I think Lesnar is one of those rare beats that only come along every 15-20 years, even if that and he's just an animal.

I think that Undertaker, more than anybody in the industry, looks at his performance every single night, and no matter how good it is, even if it's perfect and sees it, that it could have been a little bit better. He's one of those guys.

Audiences get tired, and sometimes, the reaction you get on a match is based on how tired the crowd is.

I knew the Undertaker from day one when he was with WCW, 'til he moved to the WWF. I used to sit there with my chin on the ground when a guy that size would walk that top rope. It was unbelievable stuff that the guy can do.

You can take 200 people in a crowd of 10,000 and if they choose to be heard, they sound very loud. I'm talking fans scattered around the arena - if they're chanting the same thing, 200 people can make a lot of noise.

Dustin Rhodes is very mature in this business and he is a very smart man and he came up in a rough way and let me put it to you this way; when you are Dusty Rhodes' kid it is a horrible shadow to step in to, number two you've already got heat because your Dad is the booker and people think you are getting a free ride.

The reality is, Brock Lesnar is just an animal, he's a machine.

When he wakes up in the morning Brock does what he wants to do and my hats off to him for that. I don't know of anybody else but Brock does what Brock wants and you gotta respect that.
